Huawei makes phones and 5G base stations without US ICs

The Mate 30, Huawei’s latest phone, has no US chips according to teardowns by UBS and Fomalhaut Techno Solutions. Out go ICs from Qorvo, Qualcomm, Skyworks, Broadcom and Cirrus Logic.
