Samsung is testing hydrogen fluoride photoresist etching gas from non-Japanese companies, reports the Nikkei, as Japan’s government puts export curbs on Japanese suppliers. Samsung currently buys its photoresist from Stella Chemifa, Morita Chemical Industries and Showa Denko.
