Mediatek is to hand out $5.3 million in bonuses to its 16,000 employees at its 20th anniversary company sports day, Those hired before May last year get $400. Those hired before September get $330. Mediatek’s Q3 profit was $168 million, up 129% on Q2 but 35% down on Q3 2016.
