Conventional Assembly

Icom-Scottech can handle all of your thru-hole and mixed mode requirements. Whether your products require exclusively conventional hand build or part of your total build Icom-Scottech have the solution to your requirements. We are set up to deal with all of your needs from bespoke small run hand builds, to volume production. Icom-Scottechs skilled hand soldering operatives allow us to offer hand soldering in lead free and leaded solder to suit your requirements. For your higher volume production capabilities, wave soldering is offered by use of our Blundell CMS400. The CMS400 wave soldering machine is capable of soldering at widths up to 400mm wide, to aid high volume double sided PCB production.

SMT Assembly

Following substantial investment in both machinery and training over the last two years the SMT solution delivered by Icom Scottech has never been better.  We can now offer component handling of 01005 up to BGA at IPC production speeds of up to 25000cph through our fully automated SMT production line.  The line has been setup to deliver a high-speed throughput with a focus on high-precision LED placement.  We have custom placement nozzles on site for industry standard LED packages with the ability to design further nozzles for any placement needs.  Rapid bespoke pre-production prototypes can also be carried out on our smaller QUAD based production line.
