Graphene photon detector works from infra-red to terahertz
Scientists at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) have developed a graphene optical detector that responds to incident electromagnetic radiation from infra-red to terahertz, and works at room temperature. It has already been used to synchronise two lasers.
